Before you buy

The terms, in the same words the app uses.

  • One purchase covers iPhone, iPad and Mac — UptimeScout is a Universal Purchase.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period.
  • A free trial converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends.
  • Manage or cancel any time in your Apple Account settings; cancelling stops future renewals and access continues to the end of the paid period.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • Family Sharing is not available for UptimeScout Pro.
  • If Pro ends, your monitors and settings are kept and the free plan's limits apply again.

If a subscription lapses, nothing is deleted. Your monitors, their history and their settings stay exactly as they are. The free plan’s limits simply apply again — the 3 oldest checks keep running, the oldest source keeps syncing, and intervals return to 60 seconds or slower.

Settings on iPhone. A section headed UptimeScout Pro shows the current plan as Free — up to 3 monitors and 1 source, checked every minute or less often — above Restore Purchases, Redeem Offer Code and Upgrade to Pro. An Alerts section below lists notifications, background checks, certificate expiry at 30, 14, 7 and 1 days, failures before incident set to 2, the default check interval, and a Focus filter, with the Pro-only rows badged PRO.
Settings names your current plan and its limits outright, and marks the Pro rows rather than hiding them.

Restore Purchases and Redeem Offer Code sit in Settings as well as on the paywall, so a purchase made on one device is two taps away on the next. Pro-only rows stay visible on the free plan, badged rather than removed — you can see what the app can do before deciding whether you want it, and nothing quietly disappears when a subscription lapses.
